In the Digital Age, music flows with it.

Here we use a mix of both old and new. With a variety of instruments, software, hardware and objects we create a wide range of Ambiances suitable for tabletop games, video games, cinematic purposes and art projects.

All productions here have been created by Studio Hex and Etnicea, and all rights are reserved.

Though, you are absolutely free to use these productions for personal use. Like your Dungeons and Dragons game or other Tabletop Games or as test music for things you build yourself.

A caravan of desert gypsy's have set up their camp between the rocks and carry their dance into the night. Are you the lucky or the unfortunate adventurer who came across this desert night spectacle.

A Mystical Lyra instrument sounds in the middle of the desert. Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of these desert gypsies, where ancient rhythms awaken the spirit of dance. Let the music carry you to a realm of ancient magic and a passion for motion.

#16 | Sleeping Dragon

You have come across a young Silver Dragon. A pain in the ... to the local dwarven mines and wealthy merchants. Step into danger as a young silver dragon peacefully slumbers, guarding its small but growing treasure hoard. The Locals have named him “Borlan” and he is an aggressive Silver Dragon.

He also guards a very special Dragon Bell...Immerse yourself in the magical world where a young silver dragon rests, its scales glistening in the soft glow of its little treasure trove. Don't wake it up! This Silver Dragon may be young, its power is already formidable!

#15 | Strange Encounters

Deep and Dark mysterious Woodlands bring their own strange sounds. Journey through a deep, dark forest where a mystical blue orb has drawn the attention of locals. Immerse yourself in the secrets of this Dark Forest.

Step into the heart of the mystical woods, where haunting sounds of unknown creatures, rustling leaves, and the merge of danger and curiosity create an ambience shrouded in mystery. As you explore, a radiant blue orb beckons, casting an enchanting glow deep in the shadowy depths of this dark forest.

#14 | Mountain Town

Join us on a musical journey through a serene mountain town, where peace and adventure blend in perfect harmony. Like, subscribe, and hit the bell for more immersive soundscapes. Experience the tranquil fantasy and joy as you virtually stroll through this medieval haven. Let the mountain town's serenity captivate your senses.

We love the Clarinet, Alto Flute, Horns and Violins. This peaceful musical piece is to guide you through a medieval town in your Fantasy Tabletop Game.

#13 | Arctic Blacksmiths

Step into the heart of the Arctic Dwarven Town and their winter celebration, "The Frosty Forge," where the rhythmic sounds of bells and enchanting tunes create an ambience that brings merit and cheer in a winter wonderland. Our music transports you to a world where frosty landscapes resonate with the harmony of a Christmas celebration.

For this composition a selection of DeBussy and Albinoni classical pieces were used. All the notes have been assigned to a new instrument creating an almost completely new song and theme.

#12 | Red Moon

Red Moon is a thrilling musical piece that transports listeners to the heart of an ancient jungle, where tribal chants echo under the mystical glow of the Red Moon. The composition captures the essence of a vibrant scene beneath a towering pyramid, where battles and ambushes unfold amidst the dense jungle.

The music combines tribal rhythms with ambient sounds, creating a rich auditory landscape. The beats resonate with urgency, mirroring the command to "Run. Hide. Fight." Immersing the listener in a suspenseful and atmospheric experience.

#11 | Harps' Inn Tavern

Take a stroll into the heart of the lively "Harps Inn," where the buzz of friendly banter, clinking mugs, and upbeat tunes sets the perfect mood. Our music is all about creating a fantasy vibe, whisking you away to a place where laughter fills the air, and mug clinks become part of the symphony.

For this particular piece we used the Music-Database of Kunstderfuge.com and their library of MIDI-Files. We added the voices, footsteps, coins and other Foley works to make it really feel you are right there in the Harps' Inn Tavern.

#10 | The General Store

From boots that have tread the untrodden paths to food that fills the heart, basic supplies that keep the hearth warm, and potions that spark curiosity, the general store is a treasure trove of essentials.

Everybody comes by a store like this. Sometimes multpile times a day. A relaxing and non-intrusive melody was created to add a little flair to a common stop at the General Store.

#9 | On the Hunt

Rangers on the Hunt! Embark on an epic adventure as a fearless ranger as you navigate the untamed wilderness in pursuit of legendary creatures and hidden treasures!

The music adds to a story of adventure and thrill. Enter the heart of the wild as an expert ranger using your tracking skills, wilderness survival tactics, and encounters with monsters, villians, enemies and wildlife.

#8 | Rogue Rhythms

Breaking into ancient vaults and safes is no small feat, and it demands time, patience, and unwavering concentration. As you navigate through the labyrinth of security systems, decipher intricate puzzles, and outsmart your adversaries, let the music be your trusted companion.

For the Rogue Class Types we wanted to create a more stylish-track to flex your sleight-of-hand. This is an original track produced with Ableton Instruments Rack and Adobe Audition.

#7 | Hot Springs

Step into a world of pure relaxation, where the Hot Springs become your haven of tranquility for a moment. Have a rest . If you're a fan of unwinding to soothing sounds, then it's as though the serene.

Everybody needs downtime... So join us! On this blissful journey to the Hot Springs, where you can escape into the peaceful embrace of the waters.

#6 | Fairy Magic Spell

Step into the realm of enchantment, where reality and illusion intertwine. If you like the music then apparently a mischievous fairy has cast a spell on you that takes you on a mesmerizing journey, making you believe you're in a simple

general store, a friendly Blacksmith or a walk in the forest...

But is it real, or merely a figment of the fairy's playful magic?

#5 | Troubled Suspense

Enter the haunting echoes of a troubled and suspenseful journey through the vast underground cave system labyrinth.

This ambience soundscape, deliberately slower in tone, plunges you into the depths of uncertainty and disorientation, amplifying the eerie atmosphere of being lost in the abyss. We hope this track is useful in your fantasy board games and helps foster a creative processes in the midst of labyrinthine mystery.

#4 | Cathedral of the Faceless

Mystical Ambience for Fantasy Adventures and Creative Adventures. Immerse yourself in the mystical aura of the Faceless Cathedral, where the boundaries between reality and the unknown converge.

In this track we used an old tape player and ran an unkown 1950's French Song backwords and worked on it in Ableton. Resulting in a haunting singing echoeing through a huge cathedral.

#3 | Sunshine Treasure

The Sunshine Galleon, a Haunting Galleon! A complete Foley Production where only objects - and no instruments - were used to create a pirate-vibe ambience. This theme and ship will be part of the Fantasy Game Book "The Encounters of Hex and the tablets of Etnicea".

Embark on a spine-tingling voyage aboard "The Sunshine," the legendary ancient galleon haunted by golden spectre pirates.

#2 | Frozen Outskirts

Join us on a journey to the icy, desolate outskirt as we present our latest ambience soundscape, tailor-made for lonesome travelers in search of solitude and inspiration in the frozen wilderness.

This track is a single guitar-solo take while Studio Hex used an Audio Mixer to pitch and tune the guitar while recording. With wind added and a dragging, downpressing ambiance running through it. We aimed to create a track that feels like this winter landscape has no end.
